Mission Statement
The Parish Education mission is to teach those who participate in our programs
through Christ centered active curriculum and interactive events.
Sunday School and Singspiration
Sunday school is an integral part of the Parish Education program. We strive to
teach the children of our congregation the Holy Bible, the church year and the
ways in which God would want us to live our lives. Our Education Hour runs
throughout the school year and begins at 9:15 am. We are very grateful to
everyone involved in our program,
Every Sunday morning we gather in the learning center, located downstairs, for
our Sunday school opening. During this time we sing favorite songs, learn
new songs, announcements and offering totals. We close each each week with
the "Lord's Prayer" - camp style! Our opening provides students with a
chance to raise their voices in song and it gives them the opportunity to join
with all of the other students to share in the spirit of the Living Christ.
Our Sunday school offering is an integral part of our curriculum at Christ
Lutheran Church. Through our weekly giving we are able to support a child
through the Christian Children's Fund and Compassion International. We also give
to the Souper Bowl of Caring, Arcadia Food Pantry, Operation Christmas Child,
Stand with Africa and various other charitable organizations.
